Spring Point Ledge Light, South Portland, Maine
Ram Island Ledge Light located on the northern side of Portland Harbor in Portland, Maine. We saw this lighthouse in the distance when we visited the Portland Head Lighthouse. I was disappointed that our guide did not mention this until asked.

Baker's Island Lighthouse, Cranberry Island, Maine. By boat we could only see this light peaking from the tree-lined horizon. In a couple of years I would imagine this light will not be able to be seen.

Devil's Island Lighthouse, Halifax, Nova Scotia. We were disappointed that our boat excursion did not take us any closer.
California Lighthouse, Aruba. The lighthouse is named after a U.S. ship the California that sunk two years previous to the construction of the lighthouse in 1910.
Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, Virginia Beach, Virginia
Cape Henry Lighthouse, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Both the Old Henry and Cape Henry lighthouses are located across from each other. The public is only able to access the Old Cape Henry lighthouse. These lights are located on the Fort Story military base and your car will be searched.

Bodie "Body" Island Lighthouse, North Carolina. Popular folklore has it that this lighthouse got it's name from all of the bodies that washed ashore from all of the shipwrecks.

Ocracoke Island Lighthouse, Ocracoke North Carolina
El Faro Lighthouse in Mazatlan, Mexico. This lighthouse is the second highest in the world. The view from the top requires a hike that transcends from a dirt and gravel path at the bottom to numerous concrete steps to the top. The views are worth the hike.
